Coming home from a hard day fighting against The Council Of The Unseen, the protagonist is surprised to find Grendel Jinx busy watching cartoons.
Reminded that he should be going on a super-secret weeklong meeting, the protagonist sets off, little knowing that Grendel has plans for him.
Meanwhile, Grendel's cartoon makes an impression on her, and she imagines what would happen if she used the weapons that the characters from the cartoon use, against the protagonist.
